SO WORTH IT. I worried about the whole attachment thing too, but in the end I was OK with letting one more person into our limited circle (at the time) to support our daughter and family. Day care was NOT an option at that point (we tried - it failed). But there were challenges too, and yes, it is HARD to find good childcare, it seems like everyone is on their way to something else. the nannyshare eventually disolved, but I'm SO grateful to our nanny and we still keep in touch some. Best of luck figuring out what to do. <br /><br />And housework? We didn't touch that one with our nanny. Watching two kids is PLENTY of work and we considered her a professional. But I hear you on the housecleaning thing. It takes some getting used to having nonfamily members in your house when yuo're out!
