It's official: I love PSY

Thought this guy was a crack up in the Korean Fight Song video. Just found another video on You.Tube and it's official: I love PSY!

PSY (AKA Park Jae Sang) is a Korean pop singer. Here's what Wikipedia says about him:

"PSY received his education in the United States, graduating from both Boston University and Berklee College of Music.^{[citation needed]} He was fined for his first album, the reason being that his music promoted inappropriate content for underage listeners.^{[citation needed]} His second album was also banned."

Clearly that was a ban in Korea and not the U.S. I think he hysterical and his music has a great beat. Plus, from a videographer/editor perspective, the videos are super well produced.

Make sure and watch clear to the end to see the awesome parking garage dance off! (FYI--this video isn't suitable to the younger crowds.)

Korean Olympic cheer song

This has been around for a few weeks, but thought you might enjoy it. Korea's cheer song for the Olympics. Love it! Not sure if it's the metal guitar riffs or the occasional spontaneous dance moves (which are a little weird), but this song totally makes me want to jump up and cheer.

Korean drumming group!

Finally got around to downloading this. The University of Wisconsin-Madison has a great group of Korean drummers called Ulssu. They performed for our adoption group's Chuseok celebration.

We love this song

Been loving this song at our house lately! Is it just me, or does this make you tear up a little? Geez...I'd like to blame it on the lack of sleep but I think it's just that I've become an incredible softee now that LM is home. Anyone else have that problem?

(BTW--Eric Herman has some other super fantastic songs, like the Elephant Song, one of our favorites.)
