Radio shows on "The Russia Effect"

Some interesting audio pieces out there on international adoptions, including the recent controversy created by the Russia case.

Great audio piece on NPR by Eric Weiner. Short and insightful, Weiner addresses the reasons to adopt abroad, and how one bad-adoption incident has far reaching effects, and the joy of parenthood.

Another at On Point with Tom Ashbrook. Gives a lot of information on the Russia case, and the "risks, rewards and realities" involved with international adoptions. This show is super insightful and looks at both sides of adoption. For me, the downside to this show is the comments page on the site. If you read it, be prepared to wade through lots of uninformed and heartless people dogging the entire process of international adoptions.
