Went to the local police department to get our background checks today. Another thing checked off our list! We should receive the reports in a day or two.
A good omen today too--the clerk helping us was very sweet and shared that her two daughters have both adopted. I love hearing other people's adoption stories!
More paperwork to be completed this weekend.
