Thanks to my cousin L. for pointing me to THIS!
This was one adoptive mama's smart-assed way of joining in on all those maternity portraits out there. I've photographed many pregnant women, but to be honest, I've never really thought about the adoptive equivalent. There's really no way The Man and I would ever do this, mostly because there's no way in hell we could keep a straight face!
But we love the fun these parents-to-be were having with the whole thing.
I did find the the photographer's backstory on this really touching. You can read it HERE. I love the fact that she *gets* what her friends are going through with the adoption, in terms of comments, responses, etc.
