Rainy reading day

Thank goodness it's raining. Seems that all the books I requested from the library, (several of them have been on hold for a while) all became available at the same time.

When I went to pick up my holds, they handed me a huge stack of books! So I'm glad it's raining today so Scott and I can dig in.

Have you read any of these? Did you find any of them helpful?

  • Adoption Nation: How the adoption revolution is transforming America by Adam Pertman
  • Adoption in a Color Blind Society by Pamela Anne Quiroz
  • Being adopted: The lifelong search for self  by David M. Brodzinsky, Marshall D. Schechter, Robin Mar
  • International Adoption by Margaret C. Jasper

  • "Are those kids yours?": American families with children adopted from other countries by Cheri Regis
  • The post-adoption blues : overcoming the unforeseen challenges of adoption by Karen J. Foli, John R.

  • Twenty things adopted kids wish their adoptive parents knew by Sherrie Eldridge
