Remember the goofs on our I600?
One phone call to the Department of Homeland Security cleared it right up! I actually talked to a REAL person, who put me in touch with Officer Higgins. She made the corrections immediately and even thanked me for finding the errors! Wow...so all is good with that.
Also learned that our I600A is being sent to a visa-issuing post where the adoption interview will take place. We now have a case number, and our case has been forwarded to South Korea.
Yep yep. Slowly but surely.
Great news!
ReplyDeleteyes, that is good news indeed. I'm not sure why all of a sudden it feels like time is flying by for our adoption when the last freakin 12 months have crawled. Maybe I'm getting a little scared about the changes to come...Adoption is quite the emotional mess. I feel WAY more hormonal during this whole process than either of my pregnancies.
ReplyDeleteHurray! So glad it wasn't a huge headache. Congrats on moving along. Good luck with the next part of our wait.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to moving one step closer to the finish line. It's such an emotional rollercoaster isn't it? I remember dealing with our local USCIS office and having such frustration it was like I was speaking Korean!!! Well, move forward and on to the next phase - right? Celebrate!!!
ReplyDeleteVery happy that you got good news.
