Two from the loo-Pee & Poo

Have you heard of Pee & Poo?

I'm serious. Not THAT pee and poo. But THESE ones. Soft cutesy plush dolls representing, ahem, pee and poo. The Pee doll is a giant yellow water drop, and the Poo doll...he's appropriately designed down to his lumpy head. (Not sure why I assume it's a "he"!)

A Swedish college student designed them as her thesis project. According to their web site: "The soft cuddly toys Pee&Poo elegantly integrate form and function in a playful and disarming manner". They suggest they are a whimsical nod to the taboo subject of bodily fluids, and might be used as potty training aids by parents.

Evidently some people in Europe like them. They have stickers, plushies, onesies, socks, underwear and t-shirts, all adorned with a cartoonized images of pee or poo. (They are even sold out of the poo shirt!) Oh yeah, and adult sizes if you are inclined.

You can't buy them in the US yet, so get your order online if you must have them.

But for me, I'll pass. I think I'd throw up a little if I looked at my little munchkin snuggled up on the couch with his favorite poo, no matter how cute and cuddly it is.

Ew.

  2. They are funny/cute...personally, i'm at my pee & poo discussion limit just w/diapers & potty training, i dont really want to add any more it to our play. And totally agree w/you, not so sure i really want to see my kids cuddled up w/poop.
