Today's musings brought to you by....

...Baby Jogger City Mini stroller. Currently our stroller of choice. It's smaller framed, lightweight, compact, and folds in a jif.

Anyone have one of these? Or have advice on buying strollers?

  1. Fancy! We have a Phil & Ted's and are, for the most part, very happy with it. :)
I would go with what makes you happiest and fills your needs. Helpful, huh? ;)

  2. We purchased the Baby Jogger City Mini Double stroller and can't wait to use it when our little man gets home. I think I'm going to love it!

  3. The only advice I have is take it for a test spin if you havent already. I seem to know right away if something feels off on strollers.
The main complaints I hear from my friends about strollers is that the handle bar isnt adjustable, it doesnt turn tight enough or smoothly enough, seat doesnt recline for naptime and it doesnt fold small enough or easy enough.
This stroller is adorable..I love orange!!!

  4. we have this stroller and LOVE it. it has great maneuverability and is very light and easy to transport. the canopy is awesome and covers a lot -- we've used it to block out sun and wind for cb on walks. it's also really durable for outdoor walks on sidewalks, paths, etc.
the *only* thing that's not 100% awesome is the handle bars. they can be slightly uncomfortable on long walks because the handle bars aren't adjustable. but other than that, we're very satisfied! and cb likes it, too! ;)

  5. Fun! No advice on actually using them, but DH and I were just looking at strollers today. We are torn between the Uppababy Vista and the Britax B Ready. Decisions, decisions...

  6. For us, it was between that stroller and the Bob. We ended up with the Bob and absolutely love it, but I think that the baby jogger you're looking at might be lighter. Now I have the Mountain Buggy urban double...purchased only because it was less than half price. They are silly expensive and really don't hold up against the Bob, except the weather shield is better. You won't be disappointed with the Baby Jogger, but the Bob is amazing if you're still researching.

  7. We have this stroller and LOVE it as well. We've had it for almost 2 years now, used everyday, twice a day (dog walks) as well as for longer jaunts. I'm not sure what I would do without it. The handle bars aren't a problem for us, as we are taller...

  9. what? coming next week? now I'm thinking about that too.

but while we don't have this stroller, what features I like in our stroller is easy maneuverability, recline feature (though, less important for 9 month olds), that it fits in the trunk of your car, a good sized canopy, and while I scoffed at this when I was looking for strollers years ago, having a snack tray for the kid and a cup holder for you really helps a lot.

  10. though on second thought - as I was struggling to get Daniel's boot clad feet out from under the snack tray in the stroller today - maybe those trays are over rated. Go for the snack carrier instead :)

  11. The only advice I would give in looking for a stroller is one that the handle bars can switch back and forth so you can see the child's face and have eye contact time when pushing if you want. At an adoption workshop we went to she strongly suggested this type of stroller to promote attachment...

But since we don't have our little guy home yet I really don't know what I am talking about. :) This is just what has been recommended to us.

  12. Pix, thought I would pass on the recommendation of a friend who's gone through seven (!) strollers before falling in love with the BOB Revolution. She uses it for both jogging and everyday, and she loves it.

We'd love to hear from you but we aren't mind readers, OK? Just take a minute to share your thoughts and you'll make us really, really happy.
